Kilmuckridge Village

KILMUCKRIDGE is 2 kilometres from Morriscastle and is the nearest commercial centre. It is a busy rural village and several pubs have a varied and interesting programme of entertainment in the evenings from Pub Theatre, Irish Music and Discos to special family based events. Local restaurants vary from ethnic to fine dining.

The Village hosts an annual 10 day amateur Drama Festival in February/March and at the end of the holiday season each year there is an exciting Village Parade and Party.

People coming to live in the village are welcome in a range of interesting and active clubs and societies. There are both primary and secondary schools in the village and a school bus service to Wexford and Gorey. There is a village health centre, 2 Churches and a bus service to both Wexford and Gorey towns.

A shuttle bus runs between Morriscastle and Kilmuckridge in high season. The village also has two well stocked local supermarkets offering everything you could need, including an excellent range of local meats for BBQ’s on those beautiful summer evenings and a fine range of local cheeses.
