Extend the last hazy days of summer into Autumn magic
- Sip the last of the summer sunshine on the beach - the evenings are still long and the sun warm.
- Sit in the sheltering dunes and watch the waves, read a book or just make a sandcastle. You will have the beaches almost to your selves.
- Plan a really long walk along the beach to Cahore .It will take about an hour and fifteen minutes . It is a desert island in late August and September. Treat yourself to a pint and a sandwich in the Strand Bar at the end and take in the stunning view from the window over the sea to Wicklow. Walk back behind the dunes at the base of the windmills and marvel at their massive height.
- Go to the story telling in Oulart on the first Monday of the month. It is free fun and just up the road.
- Walk up Oulart hill to Tuach a tSolais. Take the Raheenduff Road home and call into Redmonds Shop/Pub for a pint.
- Pick blackberries and hazelnuts in the lanes behind your holiday home. They belong to us and no one will disturb you. Keep an eye out for mushrooms too.
- Light a fire at night sip a glass of wine and read a book or watch your favourite movie. We will provide the logs. Add some turf savour the scent of turf smoke as Summer slips into Autumn

- Play a leisurely game of golf on our pitch and putt course. Even if you have not tried it before you may get hooked. We will leave clubs in your house.
- Ride a bike . A rental bike can be delivered to your door. It is an easy ride to the beach about 5 minutes and a hillier one to Kilmuckridge Village - about 20 minutes. The roads are much quieter than the height of the summer.
- Walk ankle deep in russet leaves. Raven and Courtown woods are golden in late summer. Leave walking along the Raven until late evening and watch the lights of Wexford coming on across the harbour.
